What an interesting listen. Sheena Dham has crafted a uniquely layered musical experience. Underneath a pop music front is a profoundly clever and cavernous experience. Sheena possess a sweetly emotional voice that is encircled by many musical influences. Everything from pop, electronic, to alternative rock are present here. I recommend numerous listens to appreciate the subtle nuances that paint the larger picture of Familiarity Heuristic. This is Sheena Dham's second release. My only complaint here is the short length of the album. Teasing us with such well constructed music then cutting it short isn't nice. Sheena is based out of Oakland, California in the United States. On this album she explores personal topics that have inspired her artistic vision such as, "heartbreak, longing, and pattern-breaking". Sheena has taken her muti-instrument talents and pursued her soul creation with an aptitude only true artists possess. Check it out and support!
