Khold - "Du dømmes til Død"
Release Date: March 22nd, 2024
Soulseller Records
Khold and I go back a little ways. I started enjoying Khold with their 2001 album "Masterpiss of Pain" and followed new music until "Krek".
I am happy to say they are back within my rotation again with "Du dømmes til Død". Khold are like a primitive beast within all the artistic
explorations that black metal can represent today. In this observation I find my attraction to Khold's music. You know you will find a glacially frigid portrayal of Norwegian black metal in all their releases. Creating its appealing nature within its simplistic delivery and evil aura that is uniquely Khold's. The inspiration behind this album is "about henchmen and various people being condemned to the death penalty throughout Norwegian history." Members past and present have been involved with such bands as Tulus and Sarke among many others. You know what you get with Khold. Uncompromising in its nature and frigid in its delivery. I highly recommend this album.
