Exhumation - "Master's Personae"
Release Date: April 26th 2024
Pulverised Records
Exhumation reek of old-school death metal fierceness. Based out of Yogyakarta/Indonesia, Exhumation are releasing their forth album of vicious and cruel natured tones. Each creation on Master's Personae is drenched in the innermost diabolical substance of darkest tendencies. Exhumation's songs are savagely shouted and sadistic in their musical delivery. Concocting confrontational hard hitting speeds with demented
substance. Slightly melodious ideas here are made unkind with gritty thrash riffs and potential nods to occasional black metal emotions. Master's Personae does a great job overall of defining itself uniquely as its own entity. This is definitely for people that enjoy their death metal ugly. It should be noted that members of Possession, Obliteration and Impiety lend their talents to this album. Exhumation are for people that want to loudly proclaim death metal's hideous throne among the polished modern sounds of the genre. This is an excellent album that will be worth repeat listens.
